Amanda Finley, DO, FACOI, FACP

Dr. Amanda Finley is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Central Florida, College of Medicine. She is a founding faculty member and serves as the Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program for the UCF/HCA Florida Healthcare (Fort Walton-Destin).

She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Magnolia Regional Hospital, Corinth, Mississippi, where she also served as Chief Resident, Core Faculty, and Chair of the Clinical Competency Committee. She was the founding program director at Henry County Medical Center and worked with state and federal programs to build focus on the importance of rural primary care training.

Dr. Finley's academic interests are in education and hospital medicine. Her goal as an educator is to empower learners, foster a positive, exciting learning environment, and infuse a desire for obtaining/receiving/implementing feedback. She aims to balance this approach with a focus on the learner's well-being and career goals.

As Program Director, Dr. Finley is primarily responsible for overseeing and administering the program. She will provide clinical supervision, oversee the didactic curriculum, conduct administration, and complete scholarly activities.
