Dr. Anthony Dota is originally from Northeastern Ohio. He earned his medical doctorate from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. After completing his internal medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University, he remained on staff there for an additional year serving in academics as Chief Resident. Dr. Dota then pursued subspecialty training in cardiovascular medicine at the nationally recognized University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. While there, he also completed a general cardiology fellowship serving as Chief Fellow, he then went on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, and additional training in structural heart disease. Dr. Dota's research interests include the treatment of complex coronary artery disease using the multidisciplinary revascularization heart team approach with several contributions in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Circulation. Dr. Dota has been practicing interventional cardiology in Las Vegas for several years with focus on the treatment of complex coronary artery disease and structural heart disease. He has extensive experience in complex percutaneous coronary interventions and transcutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVR). While here in Las Vegas he also served as Chief of the Division of Cardiology at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Dota is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, and Adult Echocardiography.
