Christel Cuevas, MD

Dr. Christel R. Cuevas is board certified in Internal Medicine. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in 2011. She recently completed her Cardiology Fellowship from The University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. During her residency, she received Outstanding Clinic Intern in Internal Medicine and received the John “Jack” Wallace, MD Prize in Cardiology during her medical school training.

Dr. Cuevas is a Resident Council Representative for the Department of Cardiology, a member of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and American Medical Women’s Association.

She is fluent in both Spanish and English.
