Daniel Kerr, II, MD, PhD

Prior to his three-year fellowship program at Moffitt Cancer Center, Dr. Kerr completed an internal medicine residency program at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, where he served as Chief Medical Resident for the Department of Internal Medicine. Following his completion, he also served as Assistant Professor of Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville. Dr. Kerr also holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Louisville. He received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He also holds an undergraduate degree in chemistry from the renowned Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Dr. Kerr is the author of countless publications, oral presentations, and abstracts on a wide range of oncology topics. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology and has been practicing as a Hematologist and Oncology specialist since then.
