About
Dr. Freed earned his undergraduate degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia and his medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, also in Blacksburg, Virginia. He completed both his internship and residency at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery in Blacksburg, Virginia. During his family practice residency, he served as chief resident in his field. He earned the 2016 award for Best Bedside Manner from OurHealth Magazine.
Dr. Freed is board-certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners.
