James Delmore, MD, FACOG, FACS

Dr. James E. Delmore is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gynecologic oncologist with Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, Kan. With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Delmore offers expertise in comprehensive gynecologic oncology diagnoses and care, with specialized training and an extensive background in robotic and minimally invasive female cancer treatments. Dr. Delmore's experience spans academia, research and publishing, and professional leadership as well as patient care. He has for many years, served as a professor in Ob-Gyn, and formerly served as the director of gynecologic oncology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita. Among his executive appointments, he was the chair of the Gynecologic Subcommittee of the Gynecologic Practice Committee for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and chairman of the American Cancer Society Kansas Division professional education committee. Dr. Delmore has led numerous research studies in his field and been an invited reviewer for professional publications including the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Journal of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He is a fellow of the ACOG, and of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.
