About
Dr. Katherine M. McBride says there's nothing better than watching one of her patients who was severely injured recover and walk out of the hospital. It's one of the reasons she chose to practice trauma surgery and surgical critical care. Another reason was the opportunity to solve the "puzzle" of why a patient is critically ill. Dr. McBride was raised in a small town in Vermont and now lives in Savannah.
