    Dr. Lama Al-Khoury is board certified in both neurology and headache medicine. She earned her medical degree from the American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon. Dr. Al-Khoury completed her residency in internal medicine at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, Beirut, Lebanon. She completed a second residency in neurology at the University of Arkansas Medical Center, Little Rock, Arkansas. She completed a fellowship in stroke at the University of California, San Diego, San Diego, CA (UCSD) and following that, a fellowship in cerebrovascular imaging at UCSD, which later focused on transcranial ultrasound. She is fluent in English and Arabic.

    Dr. Al-Khoury is a physician with UCR Health. She is a health sciences clinical associate professor at UCR, School of Medicine and director of Outpatient Stroke Service Program and Medical Director of Neurology Health Clinic.
