    Dr. Nayda Parisio Poldiak serves as the Division Research Director of the Graduate Medical Education programs for all HCA South Atlantic hospitals. She holds a Doctorate and Master's degree in health sciences from the Federal University of Sao Paulo in Brazil, where she focused on pathophysiology and exercise in nephrology. Dr. Parisio Poldiak’s background includes over 20 years of experience in research involving molecular/cellular biology, rodent physical activity, including two post-doctoral in stem cells and signaling pathway research.

    Prior to her seven years with HCA Healthcare, Dr. Parisio Poldiak worked for the Federal University of Alagoas as a Professor, for the Federal University of Sao Paulo as a Research Fellow, and as the Scientific Support Specialist for a Multinational supplier of biological laboratory products for research. She also spent time at the Universita Degli Studi di Milano in Italy as a Visiting Researcher.

    Dr. Parisio Poldiak’s research studies were published in multiple scientific journals and presented in international conferences in Scotland, Italy, Peru, Brazil, Singapore, Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, Uruguay, and the United States.
