    Rajesh "Robby" Gulati, M.D., is the Associate Dean of Graduate medical education (ADGME) and Designated Institutional Oficial (DIO) for the UCR School of Medicine Graduate Education Program. He is also the Chief Educational liaison for Riverside Community Hospital/UCR School of Medicine, Block Director for Student Clerkships (Medicine and Surgery) at UCR SOM and Health Sciences Professor of internal medicine at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine. He is a practicing hospitalist at Riverside Community Hospital and chairs the Graduate Medical Education Committee at UC Riverside School of Medicine.
    Gulati previously served as a Professor of clinical medicine at the UC Irvine School of Medicine, where he was Associate program director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program, curriculum coordinator for ambulatory education, and Medical director for the Practice Integrated with Education Clinic. He served as a medical staff member at the UCI Medical Center and was Medical director of the Weight Management Program and site medical director for the HIV Expanded Testing Services Program. In addition, he also served as the Medical Director of the IM/Primary Care Clinics at UC Irvine Medical Center.
    Prior to coming to California, he was an Assistant professor of clinical medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine's Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, where he also was the curriculum coordinator for ambulatory education. In addition, he was Associate medical director for the Indiana University Medical Group and a medical staff member at Wishard Memorial Hospital.
    Gulati is a member of the American Medical Association, the Society of General Internal Medicine, and a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
    Gulati has interests in obesity, weight management, and the drugs used as weight loss aids.
