    Dr. Tasaduq H. Mir is an American Board of Family Medicine certified physician. He received his medical degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Shiraz, Iran in 2003. He then went on to complete his Family Medicine residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Minnesota in 2012 where he also served as Chief Resident. After his residency he completed fellowship in Academic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth, Texas in 2014. He also holds additional certification in Integrative Medicine from Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, University of Arizona.

    Prior to joining Medical City Fort Worth Family Medicine Residency Program as Program Director, Dr. Mir was Associate Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas where he served for 10 years as faculty in the Department of Family Medicine and as a Mentor in Estabrook College in UT Southwestern Medical School. He was also Medical Director for Family Medicine in-patient service at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas, Texas for 10 years. After leaving UT Southwestern Medical Center in March 2022, he joined Medical City Arlington Family Medicine Residency Program as Associate Program Director and core faculty.

    Dr. Mir’s primary focus is resident and medical student education and training. He is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Fort Worth, Texas and also serves as Program Director for Medical City Fort Worth Family Medicine Residency Program.

    Dr. Mir is a member of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM), the Texas Academy of Family Physicians (TAFP), the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors (AFMRD) and Kashmiri American Society for Healthcare, Medical Education and Research (KASHMER).
