    Dr. Ubaid A. Khokhar is a board-certified Psychiatrist who moved from Nashville, TN to Florida. He provides care for medically ill patients through consultation and liaison services.

    In addition to serving as Associate Program Director for the Psychiatry Residency program at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital, Dr. Khokhar also works with medical students from VCOM, helping them with their Psychiatry rotations.

    Dr. Khokhar takes pride in providing extraordinary care for his patients. "It does not matter which hat I am wearing, my passion and priority is providing excellent patient care in the most efficient and caring way. I strive for patient safety and following the guidelines provided by the APA and FDA in treating my patients."

    While attending Medical School, he decided to become a Psychiatrist. He received his postgraduate training from some of the most seasoned and knowledgeable faculty members, who are his role models.

    "I feel blessed and humbled because of the training opportunities that I got. My residency at Metropolitan Hospital / New York Medical College was an excellent combination of education and a huge diversity of patient population that I worked with," states Dr. Khokhar. "Fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic in Psychosomatic Medicine gave me confidence in treating patients with complex medical problems."

    Dr. Khokhar specializes in treating PTSD, Conversion Disorder, (Seizure V Pseudo Seizures), Anxiety disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Spectrum Disorder, Schizophrenia related Psychotic Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Personality Disorders.
