V Raghav Aachi, MD, MS

Dr. V. Raghav Aachi is a board certified neurologist with a sub-specialty training in vascular neurology. After completing his medical school training in India, he came to the United States to pursue his Masters in Biological Sciences from Portland State University, Oregon. During this time, he was involved in various cardiovascular biology research projects and successfully defended his masters’ thesis. He then joined the Parkinson’s Institute in Sunnyvale, California where he was actively involved in both clinical and pre-clinical research projects pertaining to Parkinson’s disease. His continued interest in neurosciences got him to pursue a residency in neurology and a fellowship in vascular neurology. During his clinical practice he was not only involved in managing diverse neurological conditions but also spent quality time in educating nursing staff and emergency medical services personnel in stroke management.
