William Hart, PhD

Dr. William Hart is a Medical Writer for HCA Healthcare Graduate Medical Education (GME). He received his Bachelor of Science from North Carolina State University and his Doctorate of Philosophy from the University of Virginia. He has a varied research and publication background, stretching from cancer cell signaling to gene therapies to bacteria that eat wood at high temperatures. After spending years as a bench scientist, Dr. Hart turned to medical writing, working with HCA GME trainees and faculty to facilitate the generation and dissemination of high-quality scholarly work. He has completed the American Medical Writers Association Essential Skills Program and has the certificate to prove it.
