N1 - Gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB) is a frequent presentation in the elderly. However, the source of bleeding is not clear in almost 20 % of patients who present to the Emergency Department (ED) with GIB. The Glasgow Blatchford Score (GBS) was developed to risk stratify patients with upper gastrointestinal bleed (GIB).
